4A District 1/2 Tournament (winner to state)
Lake Stevens 3, Eastlake 1
LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings (16-3) defeated the Wolves (15-7) in a tight matchup (25-17, 23-25, 26-24, 26-24), though both teams secured spots in the state tournament. Both schools still have one more district tournament game to play Saturday at Lake Washington High School, as Eastlake will face Skyline at 12 p.m. and Lake Stevens will match up with Issaquah at 2 p.m. for the district crown.

4A District 1/2 Tournament (loser out)
Glacier Peak 3, Mount Si 0
SNOHOMISH — The Grizzlies (18-3) advanced to state with a comfortable win over the Wildcats (12-10). Glacier Peak still has one more district bout with Arlington at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake Washington High School to tune up for the state tournament.
Arlington 3, Lake Washington 0
KIRKLAND — The Eagles (15-5) swept the Kangaroos (11-12) to avoid elimination and secure a state berth. Arlington will have one final district tournament game against Glacier Peak at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake Washington High School.
3A District 1 Tournament (winner to state)
Snohomish 3, Edmonds-Woodway 0
STANWOOD — The Panthers (13-5) earned a state berth with a sweep over the Warriors (15-4). Heidi Chambers had another solid two-way performance for Snohomish with 13 kills and 10 digs while Maggie Cavanaugh chipped in 17 assists. Edmonds-Woodway will have one more chance to advance in a winner-to-state, loser-out match with Ferndale at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stanwood High School. Snohomish will play Lynnwood at 2 p.m. Saturday, also at Stanwood, for first place in the district tournament.
Lynnwood 3, Stanwood 0
STANWOOD — The Royals (13-6) swept the Spartans (13-4) to advance to the state tournament (25-21, 25-23, 25-15). Sammy Holmer had another balanced performance for Lynnwood with 13 kills and 15 digs. Ady Morgan set up the Royals offense all night with 22 assists and combined with teammate Evangeline Sum for 33 digs. For Stanwood, Harper Neyens shined on both sides of the net with 20 kills and 15 digs while Addison Bowie put together a 30-assist 18-dig game. Stanwood will get another chance in a winner-to-state, loser-out game with Everett at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stanwood High School. Lynnwood will have a chance to win the district crown against Snohomish at 2 p.m. Saturday, also at Stanwood.
3A District 1 Tournament (loser out)
Everett 3, Shorewood 2
STANWOOD — The Seagulls (9-10) narrowly advanced thanks to a tight win over the Stormrays (9-10). Everett will play Stanwood for a spot in the state tournament at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stanwood High School.
Ferndale 3, Monroe 0
STANWOOD — The Golden Eagles (12-8) stayed alive in the district tournament with a sweep over the Bearcats (11-8). Ferndale will battle Edmonds-Woodway in a winner-to-state, loser-out game at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stanwood High School.
1B State Tournament
Northwest Christian (Lacey) 3, Darrington 1
YAKIMA — The fifth-seeded Loggers (19-7) fell to the eighth-seeded Wolverines (18-6) in the 1B state tournament to end their season. The 19-win campaign marked the most successful campaign by Darrington since 2007 when the team finished fifth in the state tournament. Northwest Christian went on to lose to Mary Walker later in the day, earning them a sixth-place finish in the tournament.
