EDMONDS — The Edmonds Mayors’ Climate Protection Committee is seeking new members.
Appointed by Mayor Mike Rosen, the committee meets monthly to address the impacts of climate change on Edmonds residents, residential and commercial property, businesses and the environment.
Members also make recommendations on how to reduce Edmonds’ impact on climate change.
Applicants should be able to:
• Represent underserved communities;
• Communicate and implement engagement ideas to promote the city’s Climate Action Plan; and
• Use technology to execute engagement projects.
The committee meets 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month in person at City Hall and virtually.
