A creative haven for LEGO enthusiasts opens in South Everett

Offering new and pre-loved sets, Bricks & Minifigs South Everett builds connections across generations

Bricks & Minifigs in South Everett opened its doors this past June, offering a fun, creative space for Everett residents to build new memories and reconnect with their inner child.

For Tony Capelli, the decision to open the store came at just the right time. After years working in film and television video editing, Tony was ready for a fresh start. A visit to a Bricks & Minifigs store with his son sparked an unexpected realization – this was the new direction he’d been looking for.

“Bricks & Minifigs is not something I ever planned on, but after visiting another location and seeing the joy it brought people, I knew it was exactly what I needed,” Tony says.

With his wife, Stacie, Tony opened the South Everett store in June, and they haven’t looked back since.

“The last five months have been amazing! We’ve had a lot of people coming through, and many have become repeat customers,” Stacie says. “One of the best parts is seeing grandparents and parents come in with their kids and grandkids, bonding over both new and vintage LEGO sets. Adults often spot LEGO sets they haven’t seen in 15 or 20 years, and the excitement is contagious.”

Bricks & Minifigs, a licensed retailer for LEGO, operates on the principles of “rebuild, reuse and reimagine.” The store offers a wide range of products, including pre-built sets, new sets, aftermarket collections, bulk LEGO pieces and minifigures, also known as “minifigs.”

“People are always excited about the latest LEGO releases, but there’s just as much enthusiasm for the vintage sets,” Tony says. “There’s something magical about an adult coming in with their kids, only to be surprised by seeing a set from their own childhood.”

Host your next celebration at Bricks & Minifigs in South Everett!

“We’re thrilled to have our party room up and running, and we can’t wait to help South Everett families create unforgettable memories,” Stacie says. Not only a lot of fun, “a Bricks & Minifigs party is a chance to bond with friends and family in a creative and entertaining environment.”

Private 90-minute events are available for $175 Monday through Friday and $225 on weekends. Event packages include:

  • 45 minutes to build custom LEGO race cars and race them on the derby track.
  • 30 minutes of free time for gift opening and snacks (provided by the host).
  • 15 minutes to build a custom LEGO minifigure.

The package accommodates up to 12 guests, with additional guests $15 each. For full details or to book your birthday celebration, visit Bricks & Minifigs online or call 425-512-9780.

”Now that we have our party room up and running, we’re focusing on launching our online store,” Tony adds. “We hope to have it ready by early 2025, giving our customers an easy, convenient way to shop for both new and pre-loved LEGO sets.”
